Emergency calls

Calling emergency numbers such as fire, police and medical?

Updated over a week ago

If you've got Rogervoice to make phone calls, congratulations. Can you call EVERY number with Rogervoice? Almost!

Limited emergency calling

Rogervoice is not a replacement for your telephone and has limited emergency calling capabilities depending on your country.

  • Rogervoice cannot call short-code numbers and premium rate numbers (see this article for more information).

  • Rogervoice cannot call emergency numbers.

Only the following countries/regions allow emergency calling with Rogervoice :

✅ North America / United States for 911 emergency calls

✅ France through the 114 app (French) for emergency calls

Rogervoice emergency calling is enabled in these countries/regions, but not in the rest of the world.

We will progressively open up emergency calling in other countries as we develop our presence and our partnerships.

Not in the United States or in France -

What to do in case of emergency?

Seek help from a neighbor or nearby person you can trust. Explain your situation to them and have them dial the emergency number.

United States customers
For eligible TRS customers to IP CTS services in the United States, Rogervoice is compatible with e911. You may chose two methods to be reached by emergency personnel when dialing 911:

  • enable geolocation for automatic finding of your location

  • manually enter your address in the app's settings

These choices are presented during the app's registration phase and can be modified in app settings.

If you choose manual address, please make sure to keep your address location updated as you move.

If you have more questions, look into our other articles here or contact us through the chat messenger on the lower-right corner.

Have a good day.
